Celebrating The Golden Jubilee Year (1960-2010)

Many activities will take place in the school during the academic session 2009-10 on the occassion of Golden Jublee Year(1960-2010).Calender of events and activities that will take place are as follows:

30th July, 2009: Golden Jublee Year Inaugral function will be conducted.The chief guest of the day will be Fr. T. V.                               Kunnunkal S.J.

15th August,2009: Kite flying festival at School.

12th September,2009:Annual Pool Splash Party.

12th September,2009:Bal Mela organised by class XII students for the slum children.

23-25 Septembert,2009: Multi-thematic Exhibition by Xavier's students.

30th October,2009: Cultural Evening(only for the parents of current students)

                             Chief Guest: Mr. Ajay Maken,Minister of State for Home Affairs,Govt. of India.

22nd November,2009:The DOXA Challenge Treasure Hunt. Chief Organizer: Mr. Sanjay  Seth.

2nd December 2009: Common assembly in Senior School Assembly Ground.

3rd December,2009: St. Francis Xavier' Feast(mass and refreshment) and Golden Jublee Dinner in Jublee Chapal.

6th December,2009: Grand Jublee Xavier Fair

12th &13th December,2009: Sound of Music-Musical Play by Junior School children.

19th December,2009:  DOXA Annual Dinner

22nd December,2009: Christmas Celebrations in Prep Department along with parents and grand parents of Prep

                                children. Chief Guest: Chief Minister of Delhi, Mrs. Sheila Dixit.Other invitees include all Staff 

                                members of the entire School and Retired Staff members.At the end of the formal        

                                function,Christmas Celebrations and lunch.

23rd December,2009: Lifetime Achievement Award and Xavierian Excellence Award Ceremony by DOXA. Mr. Kapil Sibal, the honerable minister of human resources was the chief guest.

4th January,2010: Special Assembly to commence the first assembly in 1960 in the Senior School Assembly Ground.

9th January,2010: High End Fund Raiser Dinner at Oberoi Hotel,organized by the Core Committee.Chief

                          Organizers:Deepak Dewan and Rakesh Arora.

23rd January: common assembly to conclude the jubilee celebrations at 10:45 a.m.

Upto 30th January,2010: All Inter school activities to be given special impotance and enthusiasm, and to be some way

                                   attached to the Golden Jublee Celebrations.

Please Note: For all the major events the Retired teachers and DOXA EC and the Core Committee members will be 

                    invited.
